He has been responsible for the electrical design of food processing, carbon fiber manufacturing, and pharmaceutical projects.
Hexcel Corporation PAN and Carbon Fiber Manufacturing, Electrical Design Lead. Managed electrical engineering and design for multiple Carbon Fiber Manufacturing and Resin Mixing Facilities in the U.S. and France. Managed electrical engineering design and equipment procurement for a new resin mixing facility , the first of this type for the corporation within the U.S.
Frito-Lay, Design Engineer. Designed and installed process line upgrades for food processing facilities across the U.S. Was part of a field engineering and startup task force to complete checkout and commissioning of multiple process lines upgrades. Designed and procured multiple motor control panels specific to this client’s processes. Worked with integrators to upgrade existing process equipment for new control systems.
Imperial Sugar, Design Engineer. Performed an area classification study on the Imperial Sugar Plant in Port-Wentworth, GA. Upgraded entire process front end and warehousing electrical systems to meet NFPA requirements for combustible dusts. Designed a completely new electrical room within and existing building to relocate all electrical distribution equipment outside of classified areas. Designed and procured all equipment and provided on site engineering field support during construction.
